Abstract

This study was to identify the current condition and problems of Kindergarten Council. The study conducted online questionnaires, distributing 200 directors of kindergartens across the country. The questionnaires were to examine the actual condition and their perceptions of the kindergarten Council. The collected data were processed so as to analyze frequency test with SPSS 20.0 for Windows. On the basis of the results suggest for the promotion of the Kindergarten Council as follow: (1) ongoing support for monitoring; (2) enable the various subcommittees; and (3) development of a variety of models that reflect the regional and institutional characteristics. Also, Policy suggestions for the activation of the kindergarten Council: (1) expanding community members the opportunity to participate through a wide range of opinion; (2) expanded training for enhancing the professionalism of the staffing participation; (3) the relief work of the faculty committee; (4) supporting through the manual and case sharing; (5) expanding the opportunities for participation of parents
