평가인증을 통한 보육시설 서비스 개선 효과분석 및 발전방안 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the result of the 2005 model administration of the accreditation system and the 2006 administration, and to prepare for the smooth management of the system and to make an activation plan for the system after the year of 2009.

As the method of the study, we did literature research and conducted a survey over 7 related facilities and related persons. We also held a total of 8 in-depth talk meetings.

As the result of carrying out this study, it was shown that the service level of the childcare facilities which participated in the accreditation process was improved. As a development plan for the accreditation system for childcare facilities, we suggested an improvement plan for the accreditation indexes, the management of the system, and a plan for the policy tasks to be considered for the development of the system.

Making a plan to improve the accreditation indexes, we proposed to maintain the basic frame of the present type of indexes which are divided into the facilities with more than 21 children and those with less than 21 children according to the size of the facilities and to continue to use the useful questionnaire items. However, we suggested that the indexes by the size of the facilities should be divided into the facilities with more than 40 children and those with less than 40 children and to change some of the questionnaire items according to this new division.

Making a plan to improve the management system, we proposed such methods as the construction of the on-line management system, strengthening the supervision over field observers, the arrangement of the discussion on the accreditation system, the arrangement of the checking system for the efficiency and the validity of the period of the accreditation, strengthening the after-management, and strengthening the public relations.
