보육교직원 보수교육 제도의 문제점과 개선 방안

Abstract

어린이집 원장과 보육교사에 대한 보수교육은 규정은 있으나 관리시스템이 미비하고 실질적인 규제가 이루어지지 않는 것이 현실이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 보육교직원 보수교육의 문제점을 선행연구와 관련자 인터뷰 등을 통해 도출해내고 그에 대한 개선방안을 제시하였으며, 방안에 대한 근거를 전문가, 공무원 및 현장 관련자 500명을 대상으로 한 의견조사 결과분석에서 찾고자 하였다. 기존 연구 분석을 통해 본 연구에서 제시한 보수교육의 문제점은 교육과정 교과목의 획일성, 교육시간부족과 대체교사 활용성 미비, 접근성 부족, 행정 미비 등이며, 이에 대한 개선안으로서, 보수교육 교육내용의 다양화, 접근성 제고를 위한 온라인 보수교육 확대, 수강 저축제, 보수교육 관리시스템 구축, 평가인증을 통한 관리 강화, 교육 시간과 기간의 개선 등을 제안하였다.

This study aims to search weaknesses of the current system of in-service education for childcare staffs and provide strategies for improving them. According to previous studies and an interview with an government official, the weaknesses are defined as insufficient subjects in curriculum, inadequate time for getting the education, shortage of substitute teachers, and limitation in accessability to the educational sites. The present study proposes several strategies as follows: to vary the curriculum of in-service education, to introduce on-line learning to general job education part and a credit saving system in order to ameliorate the limited accessability, to build a total management system of the in-service education, and to modify the time and duration of the education.
