교사-아동의 갈등관계와 아동 행복감의 관계: 또래애착과 자아존중감의 직렬다중매개효과를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 교사-아동의 갈등관계와 아동의 행복감과의 관계에서 또래애착과 자아존중감의 직렬다중매개효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널(Panel Study of Korean Children) 2017년 10차년도(초3) 자료를 SPSS 26.0과 Process Macro 4.1을 적용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 직렬다중매개 분석을 하였다. 직접효과 분석결과 교사-아동의 갈등관계는 또래애착과 행복감에 부적 영향을, 또래애착은 자아존중감에 정적 영향을, 자아존중감은 행복감에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 간접효과 분석결과 교사-아동의 갈등관계가 행복감에 미치는 영향에서 또래애착이 매개하는 것으로 나타났으며, 교사-아동의 갈등관계는 또래애착과 자아존중감의 직렬다중매개를 통해 행복감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 아동의 행복 증진을 위한 방안 모색의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of the study was to verify the serial multiple mediating effects of peer attachment and self-esteem in the relationship between teacher-child conflict and children’s happiness, The data of children who participated in the 10th wave in 2017(3rd grade in elementary school) from the Panel Study of Korean Children were analyzed for descriptive statistics, correlation, and serial multiple mediation analysis using SPSS 26.0 and PROCESS macro 4.1. First, the teacher-child conflict relationship had a negative effect on peer attachment and happiness, whereas peer attachment had a positive effect on self-esteem and self-esteem in turn had a positive effect on happiness. Second, peer attachment mediated the effect of the teacher-child conflict relationship on happiness. Third, the teacher-child conflict relationship was found to affect happiness through serial multiple mediation of peer attachment and self-esteem. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for devising strategies finding ways to improve children's happiness by systematically analyzing related factors.
