The transition of digitalization/digital transformation is actually progressing at a rapid pace in the fields of home rearing and parenthood, education, care, and safety and protection for children, and also health, medical, and developmental support in the childcare sector. The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning and speed of the related scope and implementation of digitalization/digital transformation in the early childhood educaiotn and care(ECEC) sector, and what should be prioritized and focused on non-digital strategies. First, in the case of the childcare information integration platform, the government sites which have expanded menus of various information and service functions, have developed from one-way information provision in the past to comprehensive and customized provision of life cycle information. Second, the digital transformation efforts promoted by the pre-school early childhood education and childcare policy showed a different aspect from the educational innovation of elementary and secondary schools (digital-based, digital textbook, and digital competency). Third, in the digital transformation (e-child happiness support system) to support the discovery of children in crisis, we have looked at a representative case of digital transformation in which social security-administrative data is linked to big data-based child abuse prevention and on-site follow-up management. Fourth, since children's health and medical data have been accumulated since birth as health insurance data, and the demand for child development support and health and safety for children is boiling at the childcare sites of education, childcare, and care with parents, an integrated approach to data accumulation, management, and linkages. The implementation of DX in the field of parenting has the same purpose and orientation as the realization of the unique vision and values of parenting and parenting policies. These orientations and goals are linked to the importance of connectivity, individualization, content, and data-based construction, which are important factors in the phased promotion of digital transformation in ECEC and parenting arena. The strategies of digital transformation for parenting and ECEC need to have child-centered approaches and its actualization in the field of ECEC and child development.
