유아의 공격성 발달궤적이 부모, 교사, 또래 관계에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 유아의 공격성 발달 궤적이 부모 관계(부모-자녀 상호작용), 교사 관계(교사-유아 상호작용), 또래 관계(놀이 상호작용, 놀이 방해, 놀이 단절)에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위한 한국아동패널의 4차-7차년도 자료를 사용하였으며, 만 4세 1,703명, 만 5세 1,662명, 만6세 1,620명을 잠재성장모형으로 분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 만 4세 시기의 유아의 공격성은 유아마다 개인차가 있고, 유아의 연령이 증가함에 따라 공격성은 개인차가 존재하지만 전반적으로 계속 감소하는 경향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 4세 시기의 유아의 공격성의 초기치는 6세 시기의 부모, 교사, 또래 관계에 모두 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 조사 기간 3년 동안 공격성의 변화율은 교사, 또래 관계에 유의한 영향을 미쳤지만 부모 관계에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 초기 공격성이 높은 유아들에 대한 조기개입이 필요하다는 것과 또래 관계나 교사 관계에 문제 있는 유아들에 대한 공격성 사정이 요구된다는 것을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of preschoolers' aggression trajectory on parental relationship(parent-child interaction), teacher relationship(teacher-child interaction), and peer relationship(play interaction, play disturbance, play disconnection). We used the data of preschoolers aged 4-6 from the 5th to 7th wave of the Panel Study on Korean Children(PSKC). The results of this study are as follows. First, aggression of preschoolers tended to decrease overall as preschoolers age, although individual differences existed. Second, the initial aggression of preschoolers aged 4 years had a significant effect on relationships with parents, teachers, and peers at age 6. In addition, the rate of change of aggression during three years showed significant influence on relationships with teachers and peers, but did not affect relationship with parents. Based on these results, it was suggested that early aggressive children need early intervention and aggression on children with problems in relationships with teachers and peers need to be assessed.
