2018~2022 육아정책 분석과 과제(Ⅴ): 2021~2022년 육아정책 성과분석을 중심으로

Abstract

This study is the last annual study of 「Analysis and Tasks of Childcare Policy (2018~2022)」, which was conducted as a five-year study, and its main purpose is to review the achievements of childcare policies that have been promoted so far, and to find ways for future improvements. The lifestyle of Korea's childrearing households is rapidly changing, such as the increase in women's participation in economic activities and changes in household types, and accordingly, the needs of policy consumers are constantly changing in raising children. Therefore, it is very meaningful to evaluate the implementation of policies so that the government's various efforts can show positive results, and to seek ways to improve them. In this study, the categories of childcare policies are comprehensively defined as cash and medical expense support, early childhood education, child care, primary care policies, and childcare time support policies. In addition to evaluating the performance of the consultation based on the policy plans proposed by each ministry and the degree of achievement against the annual targets, we examined how the goals and implementation of the policies implemented are felt from the perspectives of parents, field staff, and experts, and reflected in the child-rearing process and environment as a whole. In addition, in order to understand the actual results of childcare policies, survey results were conducted among parents, childcare policy experts, and field faculty and staff, and they were used to suggest directions for improvement of childcare policies in a larger framework.
