잠재전이분석을 활용한 아동의 인성과 문제행동의 잠재집단 분류 및 전이 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 초등학교 6학년 인성과 중학교 1학년 문제행동 간의 전이 양상을 파악하고, 영향요인을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널13~14차년도에 모두 응답한 491명의 자료를 분석에 활용하였으며, 잠재프로파일 및 잠재전이분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 6학년 인성 잠재집단은 3개로 분류되었으며, 중학교 1학년 문제행동의 잠재집단은 4개로 분류되었다. 둘째, 초등학교 6학년 시기 인성이 낮은 집단에 속할수록 중학교 1학년 시기 문제행동 고위험집단에 속할 확률이 높았다. 셋째, 잠재집단 간 전이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인한 결과, 또래애착은 인성 저수준 집단에서는 문제행동 고위험 집단으로의 전이 확률을 높였으며, 학업스트레스는 인성 저수준 집단에 내재화 우세 및 고위험 집단으로의 전이 확률을 높이는 요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 하여 초등학생의 인성과 중학생의 문제행동과 관련한 개입의 시사점 및 후속연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

This study aimed to identify the transition patterns between personality in the 6th grade of elementary school students and behavioral problems in the 1st grade of middle school students and analyze the factors that influence the transition. For this purpose, the Panel Study of Korean Children’s 13th and 14th-year data were analyzed using latent profile analysis (LPA) and latent transition analysis (LTA). First, three latent classes for personality and four latent classes for behavioral problems were found through LPA. Second, athe LTA revealed a high probability of transition from the group with a low level of personality to the group with a high level of behavioral problems. Finally, confirming the influence of peer attachment and academic stress as influencing factors on transition, both peer attachment and academic stress had a significant effect, but different aspects were observed for each latent class. Based on these results, we suggest interventions related to personality and behavioral problems.
