Abstract

The current study aimed to serve as the guide of childcare in the childcare center. As for the low birth rate, Korea ranks the top in the world. Also, the difficulties of childcare in Korea frustrate the mother. Therefore, there are many child care centers to assist the child-care for the busy family. The teachers in kindergarden and child care center need the special health knowledge for child care practice. The items are disease control, prevention of accidents, nutrition and sanitation,. The guidelines for these subjects should be standardized and understandable for teachers. The essential points are described in the guidebook. The guidebook is so short and the contents are so simply to apply immediatedly for the situations which need the knowledge of accidents, infectious diseases, allergiy, nutrition and sanitation. It should be easy to read and practice. It is desirable to use this guidebook in every practice for child care to improve their health state.
